Little Green House : A chance to grow in a multicultural setting

When they are young, children can learn so easily. Their heads absorb knowledge without effort. Languages, music, culture; everything is learned naturally. Therefore Little Green House opens nurseries which have multicultural staff. Everyone uses his/her mother tongue and is able to collaborate with the others for the benefit of the children around them.

This is a unique chance to learn several languages spontaneously: singing or playing in French or English without even noticing the change. The earlier the children are exposed to this situation, the better they will cope later.

This pedagogy is working so well in Gland and Morges that the company has decided to open a new nursery in Versoix. All of Geneva's rules will be followed (security, space per child, number of teachers, etc.) by a multicultural team. The opening hours will be longer than the usual school hours.

This new nursery will be installed in the new building "Modulis" and will even have its private garden where children will be able to do gardening and discover nature: balancing games, making sandcastles, lots of ways to learn and grow. Inside, the rooms will be adapted to the activities (sleep, art and craft, meals, games and so on) according to the child’s age and needs.

The fitting-out work is progressing and will allow each age group to have its own room. The facilities will be shared by all and there will also be a welcome corner to enable parents to form good relations with the families and make any special requests.

This new nursery is foreseen to open on March 14th next year, but it is already possible to register children. The education team is available for questions and special requests from interested families
